Description

Are you a seasoned architectural visionary who thrives on complexity? We are looking for an End-to-End Platform Architect to own, govern, and scale a high-impact, multi-tenant enterprise platform from the ground up.
This isn't about maintaining a single application. You will define the technical trajectory for a next-generation ecosystem built on Angular micro-frontends and Java/Spring Boot microservices, planning its evolution over a 5–7 year horizon. Operating within a highly collaborative, multicultural environment, you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge tech (including AI/LLM automation patterns) and robust enterprise architectures.

Your Impact & Responsibilities

  • Platform Evolution & Architecture: Design the foundational micro-frontend/micro-app patterns (Module Federation/Webpack 5) and define a resilient service-mesh and API-gateway strategy.
  • Full-Stack Governance: Own the technical vision on both sides of the aisle—driving Angular component libraries, accessibility, and themes on the front end, while architecting secure, high-throughput Java/Spring Boot microservices on the back end.
  • Migration & Change Management: Design strategic, low-downtime roadmaps to smoothly migrate legacy users and systems into a high-performance modern architecture.
  • Forward-Looking Innovation: Evaluate and integrate emerging LLM/AI orchestration and RAG pipelines to optimize platform intelligence and development workflows.
  • Engineering Culture & Mentorship: Champion "platform thinking." You will coach and mentor cross-functional squads, fostering continuous improvement and an elite engineering standard.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced leader who has navigated complex, highly regulated enterprise landscapes and loves transforming technical challenges into elegant systems.
Core Technical DNA:
  • End-to-End Enterprise Architecture: Proven track record in multi-tenant platform design, SSO/OAuth2, API gateways, and service mesh.
  • Micro-Frontends & UI Translation: Expert-level mastery of Angular, build tooling, and modular UI patterns. Ability to seamlessly translate complex UX prototypes into reusable, enterprise-grade components.
  • Resilient Back-End Systems: Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot ecosystem architecture, service orchestration, and robust SQL database design.
  • Cloud-Native & DevOps Mastery: Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD, Git workflows, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, IaC, and ArgoCD.
  • Security & Observability: Strong commitment to OWASP standards, Prometheus/Grafana frameworks, and core data privacy principles (GDPR/PCI-DSS).
Nice to Have:
  • Experience building a complex full-stack enterprise platform completely from scratch.
  • Background dismantling or migrating legacy systems or low-code applications (e.g., Mendix, ERPs) into robust, clean OOP codebases.
  • Exposure to the strict security controls and compliance demands of regulated environments (e.g., banking, finance).

Benefits

What We Offer

  • True Ownership: A culture that values architectural autonomy, psychological safety, and direct influence over the global tech roadmap.
  • Multicultural Collaboration: Work alongside a diverse, world-class team of engineers, product managers, and UX designers.
  • A Lasting Legacy: The opportunity to spearhead a generational tech shift, moving from legacy constraints to a future-proof, AI-augmented ecosystem.
Work Expectations & Flexibility
  • Hybrid model: at least 2 days in the office
  • Flexible working hours: choose the rhythm that works for you and your team
  • A culture based on trust, ownership and technical excellence
Work Environment & Engineering Culture
  • Modern engineering environment with high standards and best practices
  • Premium hardware (recent MacBook Pro + latest iPhone)
  • Access to cutting-edge technologies and opportunities to influence technical decisions
  • A collaborative tech culture: knowledge sharing, peer reviews, engineering discussions
  • A safe place to prototype, challenge ideas and drive innovation
  • An organization where your voice matters and your impact is tangible
  • Our values are non-negotiable: excellence, integrity, respect — and fun
Willingness to travel when required (Geneva, Luxembourg). Please note that a Portuguese valid work permit is required.
