Pictet Tech Luxembourg is one of three technology hubs (Geneva, Lisbon & Luxembourg) powering software engineering across the Pictet Group. As Pictet Technologies continues to grow, we are expanding the new implementation team for Pictet’s Enterprise Data Management (EDM) program using NeoXam Data Hub (NDH).

Therefore, we are looking for a developer who would like to become Master Data Management Engineer and who will support our Core banking products.


In this context, Consultant's mission will be to:

  • Write well designed, testable and efficient parameters/code using NDH script language in accordance to story’s requirements.
  • Build data interfaces to import and export data to and from NDH.
  • Build data quality checks on reference data according the business requirements (ex: financial assets).
  • Setup and design NDH data dictionary following the business data model defined with data architects and NDH experts.
  • Define & write unit and conformance tests (XRAY, Cucumber and Java Api).
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve and enrich our software solution portfolio.
  • Deliver shippable features as part of a dedicated Scrum team.
Limited travel required (Geneva, Lisbon). Please note that an EU valid work permit is required. Thank you.

Requirements

Our ideal consultant should have:

  • Advanced degree in software engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in RDBMS model and SQL statements
  • Strong knowledge with SQL, Data modelling, File structures like CSV, XML, JSON and Scripting / Algorithm
  • Interest or experience in ETL concepts and tools
  • Keen interest in Data Management
  • Ability to work as part of an agile team
  • Strong interest and motivation to learn bank business areas:
    • Financial instruments, pricing, indices domain
    • Market data feeds (Bloomberg, SIX, WM Datenservice, Reuters, FundInfo, …)
    • Transactional flows in and out
    • Funds domain
    • Legal reporting

And also:

  • Curious and passionate about technology where you tinker, you keep learning, and you care about the craft beyond the job description

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. French is a strong plus
