We are seeking a Senior Web UI Developer with deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building modern, responsive, and user-centric web applications. Experience with ViteJS is highly valued, and the ability to support backend development in Java 21 and Spring Boot is a plus. Familiarity with Angular is also appreciated. You will join the Scrum team of one of our products, collaborating with fellow developers, designers, and business stakeholders to deliver and maintain high-quality web applications in line with sprint objectives.

In this context, this role will include:
Frontend Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS.
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and deliver pixel-perfect implementations.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, leveraging tools such as ViteJS.
Collaboration & Support:
- Work closely with designers, backend developers, and product owners to translate requirements into high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and user support activities as part of the product team.
- Support backend development in Java 21 and Spring Boot if requested, contributing to a seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web development.
- Proactively suggest improvements to enhance user experience, performance, and maintainability.

Mandatory skills
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience developing web applications with React, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS.
- Excellent understanding of vanilla JavaScript (ES6+) and browser APIs.
- Good understanding of modern build tools and bundlers, ideally experience with ViteJS.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with backend services.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as GitHub or GitLab.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Valued assets
- Experience with backend development in Java 21 and Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with Angular.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Experience with UI-specific testing tools (such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright) and a strong testing mentality, ensuring quality and reliability of user interfaces.
- Knowledge of the MUI library is a plus.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks for frontend applications.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
- An agile mind-set. It’s not a buzz word: agility is about collaboration, growing together, supporting more junior team members, intellectual humility and strong desire to learn
- Proven ability to deliver against deadlines with a strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and performance
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment using tools like Jira
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English, Portuguese and/or French is a plus
- Team player with a proactive approach to challenges and continuous improvement.
